Reflecting on the afterlife and what it might be like is often crowded out in our busy society.  We are usually more concerned about getting ahead and preparing for… you name it, than things eternal.  Only in times of a tragic/untimely death such as from a suicide, illness, accident, or a mass shooting are we forced to ask why.  There is often a stark difference between reality and what we might desire.  Do we have a hope of Heaven, or could it be that we are trying to create Heaven on earth?  If asked, most people would say that they hope to go to Heaven but they have no real idea of how to get there.
